Julie Hawthorne Adamski, PT, MPT, DPT, ATC
Licensed Physical Therapist
Dr. Julie Adamski, a Pottstown native, graduated from Pottsgrove High School, then earned her undergraduate degree of Health and Exercise Science at Gettysburg College. She was a two-sport varsity collegiate athlete playing both basketball and lacrosse.
After graduating from college, Dr. Adamski sat for her Athletic Trainers Certification and earned her Masters of Physical Therapy at MCP Hahnemann University, now Drexel. Her love of learning led her to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy which she earned at Temple University.
Dr. Adamski is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the National Athletic Trainers Association. She has been practicing outpatient physical therapy since 2001 at local clinics, in hospitals and private practice settings.
Frustrated with quotas and healthcare treating people like numbers, Dr. Adamski co-founded Energy Physical Therapy LLC, along with her husband, Dennis Adamski. Performing outpatient house calls has allowed Dr. Adamski to provide excellent treatment with the proper dosage of physical therapy based on current evidence, individual needs, and patient-specific goals.
Dr. Adamski believes that no matter what health issues or injuries life deals you, you can maximize your quality of life with the right treatment and training. During therapy sessions, she focuses on everyday recreational and work-related goals to help personalize the physical therapy experience. In addition, she puts a high priority on educating her patients about treatment options as well as the further prevention of injuries.
